Dichala Olga

Dr. Olga Dichala is an Assistant Professor in the field of “Pomology” at the Department of Agriculture of the International Hellenic University. She holds a PhD from the Department of Agriculture, School of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Environment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in fruit tree nutrition and physiology. She also holds an MSc in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, while she completed her undergraduate studies in Agriculture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She has published a significant number of research papers in international scientific journals and conference proceedings and has participated in both Greek and European research projects in the fields of Pomology, plant nutrition, smart agriculture, and the application of innovative technologies in agricultural production. She has been selected as an external expert for the European Research Executive Agency for the evaluation of research proposals.

Her research interests focus on Pomology, plant physiology and nutrition, sustainable agriculture, smart farming, and the use of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence in agricultural production. She has significant teaching experience in Pomology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as in the education and training of adults and young agronomists. She actively serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals.
