The description is given for each weed and includes all its morphological characteristics and is framed by rich color photographic material that makes it easy to identify the weeds, regardless of the stage of development in which they are located and their effective treatment. Details of the ecological requirements and the biological cycle of each weed, as well as the various toponyms and their synonyms are reported. Also presented is a useful index and a short clavicle to identify weeds based on the main morphological characteristics (cotyledons, leaf, shape, earwax, tongue, inflorescence). In addition, the mechanism and mode of action of herbicides are generally described, while the chemical control of weeds in the most important cultivated plants is described in detail.
